Challenge
Talisman Energy is a global oil and gas company headquartered in Calgary, Canada. With the opening of the new Talisman Australasia Pty Ltd in Brisbane, they required the assembly of a new, self-sufficient geospatial system to support their infrastructure and meet their specific needs.
Solution
GIS People provided specialist advice for the planning and specification of Talisman’s in-house GIS capacity for the Brisbane office. The primary deliverable of the project was a Strategic Plan from which a Technology Roadmap was subsequently completed.
