NSW Globe tutorials

LPI (New South Wales Government Department of Land and Property Information) required a way to help public users gain a better understanding of how to use NSW Globe – their innovative geospatial data viewing platform based in Google Earth.  They therefore tasked GIS People to produce two videos and two manuals to introduce the public to NSW Globe.

Our in-house production team scripted and produced two videos – Tutorial 1: The Basics and Tutorial 2: Next Steps, and two corresponding manuals with the same content, for those who prefer to download/print the information. These tutorials give users an outline of the basic functionality of NSW Globe and Google Earth, such as navigation, search, measuring tools, elevation profile, fly-overs and much more.

  • Informative online videos and printable manual tutorials.
  • Clear, concise and easy to follow instructions.
  • Extra tips on how to use NSW Globe.
  • Simple way of engaging the public in spatial data exploration.
