GIS People gains a place on NSW ICT Services Scheme

We are pleased to share the news that New South Wales Government has awarded GIS People a place on the NSW Government ICT Services Scheme. This means we are now pre-approved to undertake work for NSW Government and other eligible customers.

GIS People’s Managing Director, Igor Stjepanovic, says: “I’m very pleased about this news. While we are proudly headquartered in Brisbane, it is not a secret that GIS People has both national and international expansion plans. NSW in particular provides an excellent environment for doing business, and this progressive state is already an experienced consumer of advanced location intelligence services – our speciality. We look forward to further strengthening our existing relationship with NSW Government and our clients based in NSW.”

The timing of this panel inclusion could not have been better since GIS People is about to launch Gruntify during Q1 2015. Gruntify is set to be of particular interest to the Government Departments across Australia.

Gruntify is a highly scalable, robust and cost effective data management platform built on the strengths of the latest mobile, cloud, geospatial and open source technologies. It allows organisations to equip private or public crowds (aka crowdsourcing) to securely collect and manage vast amounts of asset data or incident reports in real-time. Gruntify employs push notifications to inform users or organisations about problems, incidents, emergencies, or any types of natural disasters occurring in user-defined geographic locations. The application maps all information in real-time using a highly scalable open source web mapping platform.
